Grandmother Medicine Community Herbalist Mentorship Program is in the works for folks in the DownEast Maine communities that would like to take their folk medicine skills to the next level to better serve themselves, their families, and their communities.

This program will be limited to 8 to 10 individuals.

This will be a 4 month program that meets bi-weekly to learn:

​

• General knowledge of local medicinal plants, how they work, and foraging & preparation practices.

• Plant medicine making skills to make a wide variety of medicines

• Plant energetics

• Plant signatures

• Herbal Actions

• Tissue states

• Simple formulations

• Addressing body systems with plants

• Addressing common ailments with plants

• Working in your home and community as a community herbalist.
