What will be crafted: Wicked Muscle Salve
We will venture into the kitchen at Weald Bethel Center for an instructional herbal folk medicine making class, where we will learn the art of herbal salve making, and create a warming, pain quelling, inflammation reducing salve.
Participants will take home 3 to 4 salves that they can keep or gift to others along with the skills to continue creating salves at home.
Pre-Registration is required.
Class minimum is 5/maximum is 13.
Register by November 1.
Class is open to adults and teens age 13+
(Those under 18 must be accompanied by parent, which means 2 spaces must be reserved)
Cost is $25 per person.

What will be crafted: Double Extraction Usnea Tincture
We will venture into the kitchen at Weald Bethel Center for an instructional herbal folk medicine making class, where we will learn about art of working with lichens in the double extraction method. Together we will process and create a double extraction usnea (old man's beard) extract and learn about how working with usnea may support our wellness. Participants will each take home one 8 ounce jar of started usnea tincture, which they will finish processing at home.
Pre-Registration is required.
Class minimum is 5/maximum is 13.
Register by January 5, 2026.
Class is open to adults.
