Jennifer May, the Eclectic Alchemist, brings over 26 years of experience in the holistic arts to her distinctive healing practice. By blending elements from both Eastern and Western Herbal Medicine, Flower Essence Therapy, Presence in Healing, Reiki, Aromatherapy, and more, she offers a multifaceted approach to wellness. Her philosophy centers on the belief that true healing involves nurturing the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and energetic aspects of the self.

As both a practitioner and educator, Jennifer continues to evolve her approach while sharing her knowledge with others. She resides in the peaceful surroundings of Downeast Maine with her family and two beloved dogs, fostering a deep connection to nature in her work.

Jennifer’s Eclectic Alchemy honors the unique rhythms of each individual, guiding people toward their own paths of well-being. She provides gentle, tailored support to help each person achieve balance and healing in their own time and way, believing that every journey is personal and deserving of individual care.

Background​ & Continuing Education

Jennifer studied at the East West School of Herbology under Lesley and Michael Tierra, mentored with David Dalton of Delta Gardens Essences, and deepened her knowledge at the Matthew Wood Institute of Herbal Medicine,  the Otherworld Well Hedge School, and the Heartstone Center for Earth Essentials.  Additionally, she apprenticed in Presence in Healing for three years,  completed a three year program in classical homeopathy, and obtained certification in Reiki.

She is a Delta Gardens Affiliate Practitioner.  In the recent past, she was a moderator for the Otherworld Well Hedge School, and the creator &  host of the Alchemy for The People podcast. Jennifer continues to expand her education and skillset through ongoing enrollment in programs and courses.  She is currently enrolled in an herbal veterinary course at The Possible Canine under teacher, Cat Lane.
