Enrollment in the Barefoot Academia of Eclectic Alchemy is the beginning of a grand adventure exploring a symphony of knowledge and wisdom in connection with fellow kinsfolk.  The intention is to share wisdom, skills, and eventually training, to foster more barefoot kin folk support their communities in service of the greater good and the arcane trajectory of the future.

The Barefoot Academia is a sort of deep dive "school" in which I shall teach others things that I know so that they can go on to help others. 😉. (Ya know working with Lyme, CV, EBV...... trauma, emotions, addiction...... herbs, FE, and other things and so on and so forth. )

 

This will be knowledge passed down in the oral tradition of storytelling.

 

This will not have textbooks, although there may be occasional pdfs offered.

 

This is a place to bring a pencil and paper and take notes on educational ramblings, which embosses the information by bringing together mind and body (did you know that the brain operates differently and information is better retained when you take notes?). 

 

This is not a formalized schooling with curriculum and rigid structure....... things shall flow how they flow and I shall teach what you would like to learn, within my capacity to do so. 

 

This is a place to ask questions and get answers.  

 

This is a place to open up conversation with community to  further expand the breadth of wisdom through the experiences of others. 

 

This is a place on my private platform where I have greater freedom to share more in depth information such as formulation, dosage, and case studies than I do on other free platforms. 

 

The Barefoot Academia will start out with one 2 hour live class each month....which will consist of 60-90 minutes of lecture followed by a Q&A discussion period. The class itself will  be recorded for those that cannot attend the live. 

Everyone participating in the Barefoot Academia as a monthly subscriber will be invited to the Barefoot Academia Group, which is an open forum that runs like a social media platform, where students can connect with one another, receive updates, and access links to live and recorded events. 

 

The cost to enroll in the Academia will  be $15 a month via subscription.  Tickets may be purchased to individual classes for $20. 

 

The plan for the future will be to add other monthly classes that are geared towards direct professional "training".  There may also be opportunities for in person experiences. 

 

However for now, This is where we begin. We see how it goes and flows and wants to evolve.

The name of this academia was chosen in honoring of the Barefoot Doctors.  These were folks who were trained in basic health care who usually took a "prevention oriented" approach in serving the residents of their small village and countryside communities. My intention for the Barefoot Academia is to foster the creation of more Barefoot Practitioners.  The logo for the Barefoot Academia depicts a setting down roots moving forward and leaving a trail of blossoming branches with protective thorns in our footsteps.
