Community Care Clinics offer holistic care designed to promote overall wellness and to strengthen the health and vitality of the community. Their mission is to ensure that wellness services are accessible and affordable for individuals who might otherwise be unable to obtain them due to financial challenges.

Spring & Summer Clinics will be at the Cherryfield Free Public Library located at 35 Main Street in Cherryfield, Maine on the first Thursday of the month beginning at 6pm and going no later than 8pm.

The rotating clinic services are provided on a donation basis (suggested donation of $20) allowing individuals to contribute what they can. 

No one is turned away due to financial circumstances.  

 

Rooted in mutual aid, the clinics are sustained through community support. Donations help keep services available to all.

A portion of the donations will go to support the Cherryfield Free Public Library.

Jennifer is clinic herbalist, a flower essence practitioner, and an energetic medicine practitioner.  She has 28 years experience in the holistic arts, has had a private practice for the past 18 years, and has specialized in Lyme Disease and chronic conditions for 8 years.  Jennifer has studied with highly recognized teachers at renowned schools including:   Delta Gardens Flower Essences, East West School of Herbology, Heartstone Center for Earth Essentials, The Otherworld Well Hedge School, The Possible Canine,  Matthew Wood Institute of Herbalism, and Children, Families and Communities.  Jennifer's work is highly influenced by the teachings of Stephen Harrod Buhner and Gabor Mate.  In addition to being a Delta Gardens Affiliate Practitioner,  Jennifer holds certificates in Presence in Healing, Reiki, Herbal Medicine, and Classical Homeopathy.  https://www.theeclecticalchemist.com/

Jo Hendrickson

Jo is a practitioner of the Scandinavian folk magic tradition of Trolldom, folk wisdom, and Nordic spirituality. Professionally trained and mentored by Johannes Bjorn Gårdbäck of Sweden. Jo offers magical and spiritual work rooted in lived, traditional folk ways. All work is personally and professionally crafted in confidence, with attention to each client’s specific needs and intentions. His services consist of: Cleansing, blessing, healing, curse removal, spells, charms and rituals of all kinds. Direction or assistance with interacting and relating to spirits and taking action against harmful ones.

Bianka Fuksman, LMT

Bianka Fuksman is a licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Maine and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association who works at The Tree of Life Day Spa in Bar Harbor and Botânica, the spa at the Claremont Hotel in Southwest Harbor. She has certifications in Reiki, Herbalism, Flower Essence Therapy, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage and brings a natural and energetic approach to her massage practice. Her goal is to cultivate a safe and nurturing space for her clients and offer an adaptable therapeutic massage suited to the uniqueness of each individual through supportive and thoughtful communication. Bianka is versed in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage, and Pregnancy massage and utilizes these various techniques to create a massage experience unique to everyone's needs.

Nicole French

Nicole is a baccalaureate trained nurse who has worked in acute-care, home health, in the medical device industry, and with a specialty pharmacy serving intrathecal drug therapy recipients. She has extensive experience educating patients, caregivers, clinicians, and neuro and orthopedic surgeons throughout the Northeast, and she has authored multiple clinical and technical resources for these audiences. In 2015, Nicole shifted her focus to the healing arts, studying myofascial release, reiki, yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and most recently, holistic approaches to managing menopause. She has an endless curiosity about the mind and body, their connections, and their potential to thrive. Sharyn Kaufman

Sharyn has lovingly created mindful works of creative reflection.
